TRINITI represented a client in hotels acquisition in Lithuania

Legal advice was provided to the client during the acquisition of shares of a group of companies managing several hotels in Lithuania. The deal had a foreign element and required profound and comprehensive knowledge of various fields of law as well as coordination of the documents with the securities account manager. TRINITI team is proud to have contributed to successful completion of the deal. The transaction is expected to have a positive effect on the hospitality market.

TRINITI client was issued a Certificate of Eligibility in record time

Certificate of Eligibility was issued to a TRINITI client as a result of efficient cooperation among the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, the NATO Communications and Information Agency, the NATO Support and Procurement Agency and TRINITI lawyers. The document certifies compliance of the client‘s company to the financial, technical, professional and security requirements. As of 21 July 2020, the company represented by TRINITI lawyers is included into the NSPA suppliers list eligible to participate in NATO procurement.

Triniti represented Eddy Travels, a Lithuanian startup developing an artificial-intelligence-based digital travel planning assistant

Eddy Travels, a travel tech startup founded by Lithuanians and based in Toronto, has raised €1.1 million in a pre-seed funding round, led by Baltic VC Practica Capital with participation from Lithuanian firm Open Circle Capital, Techstars Toronto, and angel investors.

Founded in 2018, the company has developed an AI travel assistant, which communicates with users via chat apps such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Pulling from Skyscanner, the digital assistant can search flights, accommodation, restaurants, and travel insurance.

For now the funding will go to immediate product development work that is adapting the app for travelers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once the disease is contained and travel restrictions lifted, the startup will shift focus and expand into new markets.

During the course of advising AS Info-Auto, among other things we helped to carry out mergers, divisions, transfers, and exchanges of holdings, increases, and decreases in share capital. Info-Auto is an Estonian car company which was founded in 1993. It is the authorised representative in Estonia of the Volvo Car Corporation and the Ford Motor Company. The company has branches in Tallinn, Tartu, and Pärnu, with a total of more than 150 employees.
