Triniti advised RAFAKO S. A., a leader on the Polish power generation equipment market and the biggest boiler producer in Europe, as well as a leader within the field of flue gas desulfurization plants based on wet lime and semi-dry methods, on construction of a new combined heat and power plant in Vilnius.

TRINITI lawyers advise the Client on a daily basis with regards to the construction works. A new heat and power plant will consist of two CHP units: a waste burning unit and a biofuel burning unit. The biofuel burning equipment will be installed by Polish energy object builder Rafako for 149.65 million euros.

TRINITI lawyers represent Lithuanian grain growers whose harvest has been severely affected by drought in a number of civil disputes with a grain purchaser, the largest company in the Lithuanian agricultural industry,  on outstanding contracts. The cases are of significant importance, as they are creating  a case law on the conditions for relief from civil liability due to force majeure.

UAB “Baltic Bet”, a company engaged in gambling business in Lithuania, was sold to a Swedish company Lifland Gaming Group in September 2017. TRINITI provided legal assistance to the shareholders of UAB “Baltic Bet” during the negotiations and while the successful closing of the transaction. UAB “Baltic Bet” is one of a few companies in Lithuania that has a permit to organize on-line gambling activities. TRINITI lawyers, led by the partner Vytautas Kalmatavičius, successfully accomplished already the third project where a client working in the gambling business was represented.

TRINITI acted for STRABAG as legal advisers in a competitive dialogue for a PPP project to renovate and operate a city street lighting network in Vilnius.
