In 2018 Maarja graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Tartu, Estonia. She wrote her thesis on the subject of qualification of software agreements. Title of her thesis was: „Applying Provisions of Contract of Service and Authorisation Agreement to Software Development Agreements“
Also, in 2018 Maarja graduated from the IT Law Programme (masters) in Faculty of Law of University of Tartu. Maarja is focused on intellectual property and IT intensive enterprises as well as data intensive enterprises
